The C. H. Hanson Co. has introduced SpeedMeter, an electronic measuring wheel available in 4-inch and 13 inch-wheel sizes. Both models feature a large LCD display with a selectable on/off backlight, an electronic brake that holds the measurement until reset, and a telescoping handle. The electronic measuring units can measure up to 10,000 feet/inches, 10,000 yards/tenths or 10,000 meters/centimeters. One touch button will convert any measurement. The 13-inch model is better suited for outdoor conditions and features a pistol grip for added comfort over longer distances, a collapsible kickstand, and weighs only 2 1/2 pounds. SpeedMeter's sturdy design, accuracy and resistance to the elements makes it ideal for law enforcement accident investigators or any professional that requires precise measurements.
